Crescendo in 13 days 🚀
The long anticipated Crescendo upgrade, bringing various features to Kaspa's mainnet, including the most awaited shift to 10 blocks per second is coming in approximately 13 days!
If you still somehow don't know what Crescendo is, and what benefits it brings to Kaspa, this post by Michael Sutton is a good read.
According to coderofstuff, around 51% of the network's blocks are mined with nodes that run Rusty Kaspa v1.0.0 (which includes the Crescendo Upgrade code) and some pools are working on the transition, which should bring the hashrate support to around 85% in the near future.
Kaspa the Most Tweeted Altcoin this Monday 👑
Today Altcoin Scanner posted a chart showing the top 10 coins that had the most tweets written about them in the last 24 hours. The ranking is based on the number of mentions.
Kaspa took first place, overtaking NAKA by nearly twice the amount of posts. Yet again, this shows the strength of Kaspa's community. 🔥
Juliano's speech to the Kaspa Community 👊
Juliano shared a video in which he speaks to the Kaspa Community. He talks about what drives him, makes him a real champion, and of course why Kaspa is the only chain that is fast enough to keep up!
In 10 days, he will enter the European Championship in Limoges, best of luck to him!
Web3 Festival Recordings 🎥
Two weeks ago, we've talked about the Web3 Festival, and the Kaspa-related events surrounding it. Recently, recordings of them were shared publicly on X.
You can view the recordings of speeches by Monica Forman, Yonatan Sompolinsky, Michael Sutton, as well as panels including attendees from Kasplex, Igra Labs, KASmedia, CoinEx, and others on Kaspa Ecosystem Foundation's Youtube Channel. Most certainly a good watch!
Kaspa Dubai Meetup 🗓️
Andrew, one of Kaspa's Ambassadors will be hosting a Kaspa Meetup in Dubai on May 3rd at 7PM, until 9PM. The location is yet to be announced, as it is dependent on how many people will RSVP. If you're interested and would like to attend, send a DM to the UAE Kaspa Ambassador either on X on Telegram before the 27th of April.
The event in Dubai isn't the only one. Kaspa Ambassadors from various countries will organize and host events surrounding the Crescendo Upgrade. Follow Kaspa on X to learn about them as they're announced, we'll let you know about them as well 😉
